The Brief
Account Closed, in collaboration with our affiliated partners at WAGDSi and WAG Digital, embarked on a national campaign led by Nigel Farage following his debanking by NatWest in July 2023. The initial website, comprising only two pages, served as a platform for collecting names and emails from individuals who had faced similar debanking issues. However, with the overwhelming support and media attention garnered by Nigel’s plight, there arose a need for a comprehensive platform. The objective was to provide debanked individuals with a supportive community, information, and resources to navigate their situations.

Web Design
Our collaborative efforts with Nigel Farage’s team involved weekly calls to align on design and development requirements. The new website was meticulously designed to engage and educate visitors, offering a fresh and inviting user experience. We incorporated forms to collect support from the community and integrated email functionalities to facilitate communication with members. Additionally, a dedicated members’ area was developed, complete with downloadable resources to empower individuals facing debanking issues. Every aspect, from design aesthetics to user experience, was carefully considered and implemented to ensure an intuitive and impactful website.

Web Development
Our team handled the entire web development process, addressing Nigel’s team’s evolving needs and requests. We provided support in UX optimisation, form integration, SEO implementation, and image selection. Upon completion, the migration from the old platform to the new website was seamlessly executed, ensuring a smooth transition for Account Closed and its community members. The new website not only provided a robust platform for the campaign but also laid a solid foundation for future growth and collaboration.
