The Project Brief
Marshalls International is one of the world’s leading suppliers of specialist ice rink equipment, resurfacing machines, spare parts and technical services, with over 40 years of industry experience supporting ice rinks across the UK and worldwide.
The client approached Whiteski Digital because their previous website no longer reflected the quality of their business. The site felt disjointed, unfinished and difficult to navigate. Products were presented as individual pages rather than through a structured shop, making equipment difficult to browse and enquiries harder to generate.
The brief was to completely rebuild the website from the ground up, creating a premium online presence that showcased their expertise, products and services while laying strong foundations for future digital growth.

Our aim was to create a website that finally reflected Marshalls International’s position within the industry.
Using a modern layout, improved navigation and high-quality imagery throughout, we designed a website that feels professional, premium and easy to explore. Visitors can now quickly discover products, services, projects and technical support without feeling overwhelmed.
Rather than simply displaying products, every section was designed to educate visitors about the business, build trust and demonstrate over four decades of experience. Clear calls to action and enquiry forms were introduced across the website, making it easy for customers to request information without requiring a traditional eCommerce checkout.
The result is a website that feels far more engaging, informative and representative of the company today.
WordPress Website Development
Built entirely on WordPress, the new website was developed to support both current requirements and future expansion.
One of the biggest improvements was introducing a structured product catalogue. Products are now organised through categories, sub-categories, brands, tags and related products, making navigation significantly easier while creating stronger internal linking throughout the website.
We also introduced dedicated service pages, project pages, a news section and an expanding knowledge base that allows Marshalls International to continue building authority within their industry.
Every enquiry now flows through tailored enquiry forms, allowing the sales team to qualify leads before providing quotations. The website has been designed with scalability in mind, giving the client a digital platform that can continue to grow for many years.
SEO Foundations & Technical Optimisation
SEO formed part of the project from the very beginning.
Every page was rebuilt with properly structured headings, metadata, internal linking and optimised content. Products, services, categories and supporting pages were all connected together to create a much stronger website architecture for both users and search engines.
Page speed was optimised throughout, images compressed and search engine indexing configured correctly before launch. XML sitemaps were submitted and Google indexing configured to ensure the new website could begin building visibility immediately.
With a much stronger structure now in place, Marshalls International has an excellent platform for ongoing SEO growth and future content marketing.
